The ITTF is proud to introduce the first official ITTF Level 1 Coaching Course Manual and Syllabus. Many countries have Coach Accreditation Courses in place which vary greatly in length and content. This manual is not meant to replace existing programs, but has taken influences from all of the world’s leading countries and combined them into a course that is aimed at countries that do not currently have a course in place.
This course and manual is aimed at coaches working in schools and at a beginner and junior level.
Every attempt has been made to make the manual and course “user friendly” with simplicity and a practical course the aim.
All sections of the course should where possible be done “on the tables” in a practical sense, so that coaches have a ‘feel” for the material and based on the saying, “To hear is to forget, to see is to remember, to do is to understand”.
The ITTF Advanced Coaching Manual is a comprehensive table tennis instruction and coaching guide which is quickly becoming a "must have" for new and experienced coaches alike.
Whether you are a coach, or a player looking to improve your understanding of the game, you will appreciate this in-depth instructional book! It is the logical continuation of the ITTF Coaching Series which began with the previously published ITTF Level 1 Manual.
Whereas the Level 1 Manual covers all the basics of the sport, the Advanced Coaching Manual goes to the next stage, covering in detail: Education Principles, Table Tennis Techniques, Strategies and Tactics, Physiology, Psychology, Coaching organization and planning, and History. Includes color photos and illustrations.
